I used to play at being a futurist of sorts - I wrote a blog focused on the overlap between tech, marketing and consumerism in general.

The advances were (and are) happening faster than my ability to keep up. So, like sci-fi visionary William Gibson, I stopped writing about the future.

Unlike William Gibson, I haven’t won a Hugo or Nebula award yet. So maybe I stopped too soon.
