I Believe

 

Craft is still a thing.
Write for those who read the fine print. Design for the eyes that see the difference. When you create for people who’ll notice the details, everybody wins.

Without a good brief, it’s just a guess.
The tighter the brief, the more room there is for unexpected ideas. Work without one, and you’ll spend your energy guessing what to say instead of how to say it.

Multi-tools get more done.
Set me loose with a brief, I’ll bring you diamonds. Plug me in to a team, we’ll all deliver. Ask me to lead, and watch us shine. I’ll work however’s best for you.

 

Don’t Wound it. Kill it.
Filing down ideas doesn’t make them safer, it makes them softer. Better to root out what’s not working and fix it, or quickly move on to something better.

Listen more, talk less.
Product owners, brand managers, and sales VPs are the best barometer for what’s actually interesting about a product. Ignore them at your peril.

 

Leave it on the field.
When we work together, you have my full attention. I like to work hard and fast, then go home to recharge so we can hit it again tomorrow.
